The thing is...I love Sports Song. One of the better tracks, IMO. The only reason I voted for it to go is because Mission Statement is my #1 Favorite Al song. It was hard for me to vote SS, but I HAD TO!!!

Dingo, I love Sports Song. I was in marching band, so it's a given. I was never beaten up by a jock, because I was too busy marching pre-show and halftime, and playing music in the stands. Any other time, I just wasn't a target. I got verbal abuse instead, and that was from non-jocks. :/

I didn't vote for Mission Statement to go, either.

Hm, I think the reason nerds hate sports is not being beaten up by jocks (personally I got beaten up by everybody, jocks or not ), but because most of us failed and embarrassed ourselves miserably during physical education (at one point I wasn't the best student in my class solely because of my bad grade in P.E.)
