The homepage of WeirdAl.com says Al will appear on The View July 15, the day the album comes out, where he'll premiere a new video.

He posted a video on Facebook. Is the name of the album, Mandatory Fun?

Weirdal.com has been updated, and is sure looks like Mandatory Fun will be the title of the album. Also, the View appearance has been taken off his website

A friend of mine with ties to the music industry just posted the full album art plus a full pic of Al in military garb. Check it.

I am now talking with another industry friend who revealed the cast list and other Instagram photos from the recent video shoot.

OK folks. Got some news straight from Dr. Demento. He says he has a cameo in one of the videos on the new album. This video was shot in MC Lars' apartment. Dr. D. has not gotten a copy of the new album as of today. And the song for which he makes a cameo appearance in the video, he has only heard the 30 second (or so) portion of that song (just the snippet they were shooting with him in it). So Al is playing it pretty close to the vest, considering Dr. Demento hasn't even heard the whole song (and he's in the video!).

And for all you haters out there... Dr. Demento said this today at a Q & A session at Fumpfest in Chicago when someone asked him about it.
