Just to make the final announcement:
The 4th Bi-Annual WOWAY Awards will be held tomorrow, October 28th, at 8:03 PM Pacific time. Don't miss it!
Whether or not there will be some sort of pre-show carpet special is unknown to me but if Mecca (or someone else, for that matter) is doing it, the chatroom is open all day before, he can announce when he wants to start it.
As for the problems with the chatroom that WHiZZi mentioned, we'll be using an alternate chatroom tomorrow. Here is a quote from WHiZZi
The non-java chat is down, I cannot fix that. The Java chat and normal IRC is working fine IF you connect to wacko.zipzap.nl on port 7000 (irc.weirdalforum.com is also broken)
The room is #weirdal just like on the regular IRC server. If anyone has any trouble getting in, please tell us today so we can find somewhere else to have the Awards (Driew suggested scottidog's chatroom but it might be nice to check with her before just throwing a party in her house
)
So, please, don't hesitate to tell us "OMFG!! i cnt g3t in2 da chatrm!!!!11!1!!"

Ok, looks like people are already having problems with the new chatroom. I'm going to see if we can get in scottidog's for the evening and, if so, I'll post a link to that here.

Well I'm in Java chat and mIRC right now, and both are working fine.

I think the problem was that a lot of people don't have Java or mIRC. If it works for more people, please tell us and we can set things straight.

Alright, we've tested the chatrooms and we've decided that the Awards should be held in the new chat server that WHiZZi made for us.
To access it, connect to wacko.zipzap.nl on port 7000 on mIRC or Trillian or whatever IRC manager you use or you can use the Java chatroom like normal.
