I drove down to Massachusetts (roughly a 14 hour drive from where I live in Nova Scotia) to see Al in October 2013, and when meeting him after the show mentioned to him that I'd love to see him come back to Halifax for a show. He told me himself that he has no control over where he plays but if given the chance he'd love to come here again. I'm not sure what my point is, other than when I saw him say the same thing on Facebook, it was old news to me lol.

I don't know about 'unclassy', but I will say one thing...

When His Weirdness speaks, you pay attention. XD

It is to my assumption that Al might keep the beard-mustache for the tour, as that is how he has been wearing it practically since the release of MF. In that case, it will be pretty strange seeing bearded Al in some of the costumes for the show, SLN being one that stands out in my mind.

Looking back, I think Al's done it before. While Al seems content with it now, I don't necessarily think it's going to be present in the tour. I wouldn't mind it, though; the contrast of the facial hair against some of the costumes should be funny.

Total speculation here, but it has been a thought of mine for a while. I feel Al may have started slowly starting to phase Smells Like Nirvana out of the setlist. It's been a staple for a long time now, but with it's move from the classics grouping near the end, to earlier in the tour recently, maybe that was a sign that Al's starting to get rid of it?

I thought the original reason it was moved was to replace "It's All About The Pentiums" because it was a high-energy song for the earlier part of the show. Unless Al's got another song up his sleeve for a costume spot, I don't think it's gone yet. Even then, it might just get moved back to the end.

Maybe he'll keep it until the first show of the tour and then do his disappearing facial hair act. I saw him do that in Akron in 2004. He came out to start the show with a full goatee and mustache, and every time he came out after a costume change, a little bit of the facial hair would be gone. It was hilarious.

Hmm...that would explain this tour photo

...and yes, the caption from the mothership gallery indicates it's from the Akron 2004 show
