Re: Mandatory VIP/Czar Experience (Official)
yeah, the wait time depends on the venue. Took me about an hour or so since I was last in line, but they had the members of the 501st come up and take pictures with us throughout the wait which was pretty cool.

Do we get to choose at least one thing to get autographed? The VIP email says he'll sign the tour flag. I really want a signed Mad Magazine.

I won Wheel of Fish -- a Weird Al action figure.
Stale chips and ranch dip isn't food. Eat before you go.
Loved the Al archive of photos, videos and other artifacts.
Our foil pageant was better than our costume contest.
They really rush you thru the meet and greet, but Al is always accommodating. I would have preferred a photo without storm troopers lingering in the background.

We didn't have a foil tat contest we had a 21+ "sexy underwear contest".weird_el wrote:I won Wheel of Fish -- a Weird Al action figure.

Also, if this is real, can we have photos to prove it? Seems unbelievable to me...

i felt rushed at the meet and greet in Madison last night. Make sure you see your picture with Al before being hurried out. I wasn't even looking at the camera or even at Al's head level, I'm 6'3", all legs with a bad knee. The photographer said "good picture" and I took his word because they seem to be more concerned about keeping the line moving. Not a good way to end an otherwise awesome evening.

I knew they'd kick you out as soon as your moment was over so I went to the back of the line. I enjoy the wait talking with other fans.
