I refuse to speculate on this question because I don't believe such power should reside in one pair of hands, even the most capable ones

That being said, I always thought that if aliens ever contacted us I'd like Al to be our representative because I can't think of anyone else I'd trust not to provoke war with them
. He's smart, non-judgemental, peaceful and diplomatic, basically Star Trek ideals personified (I'm kind of surprised he isn't a fan of the show).

I'm just going off of White & Nerdy lyrics and his general geekdom and things he's said, but I'm pretty sure he's a fan.

Well, there's being a fan of the show, and then there's being A FAN of the show. He might enjoy it but just not be as into it as he is/appears to be with Star Wars.

He's definitely a Star Trek fan. I mean, he's seen each movie eighty times and memorized each word.
