What makes you Tacky?

Post by weird_el »

I Instagram every meal I've had ...

When we have Restaurant Week here I like to photograph and share my food on Facebook. Restaurant Week is local restaurants offering 3 course meals for $25. The food is always plated beautifully.

Got my used liquor bottles on display ...

My husband and I have about 40 different empty beer bottles lined up on top of our kitchen cabinets. What can I say, we love beer. We were married in a brewery!

My "Tacky" confession is a bit of a mashup of the above two: I don't Instagram my meals, but I DO occassionally Instagram all the different microbrews I try. I typically like to have a perfectly-poured pint glass with the bottle next to it, so my friends can see which new IPA I'm trying. (But I don't display the bottles on my shelf afterward.)

Sometimes I simply text the beer pic to 2 particular friends who are fellow beer aficionados, and spare my Instagram followers. I suppose that's slightly less tacky. Thanks to Al's song, I'll probably do this more frequently.

In fourth grade, I wrote all of my typed assignments in Comic Sans. Sometimes I look back at the files and cringe.

I'm not on Instagram, but I post food items on facebook and twitter sometimes. I posted a pic of some soup I made a few days ago.
I did some name dropping here, and I've done it elsewhere.
I know - :tacky:
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I am a member of yelp elite squad. I instagram bucket rides, breakfast, cats, and pictures of me in masks. I own a pink ranger sweater and I own pac man sweatpants.

Does being an arrogant jerk and a sloth count as tacky? Other than that, I'm not tacky.
