OK............things have gotten quiet in here. So, Here's a question I posted elsewhere...........let's see what y'all think:

Say, for instance you somehow aquired a piece of Al clothing.........shoes, shirt whatever. Let us also assume it is your size...

Would it be for display only, or would you wear it?

I can answer this one. I have Al's shirt. The thought of wearing it never occurred to me, but I let a friend wear it to the Merrillville concert in July 2000. It's also not on display. It hangs in my closet next to the Hawaiian shirts.

Awww, Carole! thanks for sharing all those great pics! I don't have anything of Al's...yet! lol! But I'm going to Alcon, so who knows? I would probably display it if it was something other than clothing. I might wear something of his if it were at all possible to get my hands on something like that. Good question, Kimita!

No one else wears it

Display only

It better not be my size!

Ok, it's a stretch, but I'll try to imagine... ;)

Assume? Why assume when it actually is my size!
Would it be for display only, or would you wear it?

One of each and none of the above, actually. There's three things that come to mind that would fit in this category.

1. Gump boots - I've never worn these or displayed these.

2. This Is The Life shoes - I wore them once to a concert and would probably wear them again if the right situation came up. They aren't on display.

3. Amish glasses - These aren't my prescription so I couldn't wear them if I wanted to. They are displayed in a shadow box. Even if they were someone's prescription, they would be very tough to wear. The lenses are scratched pretty badly. It's no wonder Al got laser surgery... I don't know how he could have possibly seen anything out of them!!

I have a simple plastic cup Al drank from and signed I treat it like the Holy Grail, so you can imagine what I'd do with an item of clothing!!:)
