While I agree to an extent, you can sort by post count/alphabetically/etc etc if you're really desperate to find someone.

I dunno, the old version of the forum had a better member list that was easier to deal with -- maybe there's some sort of widget to change it without necessarily deleting members that may not want to post or something.

After looking at the member list again, there is an astounding number of 1 posters as well from the early 2000s. I seriously don't think they are lurkers who are still active. With the exception of Weird Al, I'd like to see the 1 posters gone as well. If they are lurkers, then they can feel free to re-register.

Really? I didn't know that. Al had more than 1 post? I can't even view his single post that still shows.

If there was a purge in 2007 or 2008, why weren't the users from 2003, 2004, 2005, etc. with 1 post who never returned, retained?

IIRC, the purge was of members with zero posts, so those with a few weren't deleted.

This is more a question for the mods, but would the deletion of a member render their posts unreadable? Or would it just render their members page inactive? Because if deleting members with one post makes those posts unreadable, we shouldn't even think of deleting the members. You're messing with history at that point, even if it is something like viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1427&p=20103#p20103" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
