Re: Medium Rarities
Should Medium Rarities and/or Squeezebox have their own subforum?
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

Thought about that... Probably?Teh Dingo wrote:Should Medium Rarities and/or Squeezebox have their own subforum?
Some of the topics in "unreleaed" can be moved in, plus there will inevitably be Squeezebox reviews. There is already enough to talk about (such as the PledgeMusic updates, the chotchkes that come with the set, etc) that it's probably warranted.

Re: Medium Rarities
So far, we know that the instrumental for DTBS will definitely be on there, and the new version of Happy Birthday seems likely, since he referenced "songs ranging from 1978 to this year". Still hoping for Free Delivery... Can't wait for the track listing!

Re: Medium Rarities
We also know Pac-Man will be included.
And, apparently, something recorded in 1978. The only thing listed on weirdal.com for that year is Take Me Down...
And if we are really listing everything that we know about, Headline News, Spy Hard, and Polkamon are sure bets. Anything else?

I'm not entirely sure that Polkamon is a lock. I certainly would like to have it, but do we even know if he has the rights to distribute it? It's never been on one of his releases before, right? Just the movie soundtrack?TMBJon wrote:And if we are really listing everything that we know about, Headline News, Spy Hard, and Polkamon are sure bets. Anything else?

Re: Medium Rarities
After watching some concert videos, I have a strong feeling that there is a studio recording of "I'm In Love With The Skipper" and it will show up on this album. There are some backing tracks playing that are clearly studio-versions of Al's voice in certain spots. I very well could be wrong, though

I would actually bet that Spy Hard and Polkamon may be tied to the rights of their respective films and unlikely for the albumTMBJon wrote:We also know Pac-Man will be included.

Re: Medium Rarities
Well, Spy Hard was released on the Gump single and the video was on the Ultimate Collection DVD, so there is precedent for Al releasing it separately from the film.spmahn wrote:I would actually bet that Spy Hard and Polkamon may be tied to the rights of their respective films and unlikely for the album
