Lyrics

Although, I never heard the song before, I think the lyrics are very clever. This was produced by some record company that produces un-popular artists in SLO Town. So, is there anybody that heard this song? What do you think of the lyrics? Do you think it's funny? Why am I asking you all these questions?

1. I have never heard the song.
2. I think the lyrics, especially the chorus is quite clever.
3.I think it's pretty funny.
4.I dont know why your asking so many questions. Consult Dr. Phil on that one.

I have it. It's a good song!

One thing I just noticed while listening to this song... his singing style is pretty similar to Tom Lehrer's. Huh... anyone else think so? Maybe I'm just weird...

Not sure where. I'll comment this song sometime on the weekend, btw... Hopefully, my computer will be fixed by then.k

Well Tom Lehrer was a big inspiration for Al, so Im sure its possible. In college Al was performing 'The Elements' in his coffee house shows.

I love this song! I do have it. I don't know about the singing style sounding like Tom Lehrer's, but I'm sure Al would be flattered if you told him you thought so, jace.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I've thought the same thing, Jace.. In fact, there are a few unreleased songs that remind me of Tom Lehrer.

In addition to the original "SLO Grown" compilation LP, in 2000 the song showed up on two relatively hard-to-obtain CDs. One was "Dr. Demento's Basement Tapes 8" from that year's Demento Society membership package, while the other was the locally produced "SLO Unplugged II: Community Benefit" album.

Out of the three the last one would probably be the easiest to track down now, but outside of eBay or GEMM I don't have the foggiest idea where one should start searching.
