While human bowling appears to be an immensely entertaining prospect, that's not quite it either. The things in the video don't encompass the person from all directions like a sphere; they pretty much consist of two parallel tori, joined by little metal bars, which circumscribe a fully erect person from only the second-dimensional 360 degrees (the tori do the circumscribing, that is, not the bars). And they don't exactly roll either; the behave in the manner of a coin that had been rolling on its edge but is now losing momentum, causing it to move in circles at an acute angle to the ground.
I've pretty much exhausted my entire geometric descriptive vocabulary there; I don't think I can go into further detail.
