Yeah, that's part of my screen name. So it's really easy for me to spell. Albuquerque. I found it's also easier if you spell it out loud. I'd try to do it in my head and the part of the song comes up where they're trying to sing it!

Oh man, I know! (Hey look! A double post!) My friend and I went to see the Pokemon movie in 2000 (I was 11, okay?!) and about 10 minutes into the little cartoon at the beginnning, the fire alarm goes off. Well what do you think two 11 year olds all alone are going to do? We jumped up, FREAKED OUT, and RAN like there was no tomorrow. And idiot me didn't even go out the fire escape. We went to the concession stand! (Like it's gonna save us from a fire!) And a worker person goes,"Some kid pulled the alarm. There's no fire." Phew! So we go back to our theater and we're trying to tell the people who are pushing each other to get out the fire escape that it was a false alarm. Yeah, right. Like people would actually listen to us!
Well to make the long story short it got infected and I died! (Woops! lol.) Actually we ended up singing "And everybody died! Except for us! You know why!? Cuz we had our cup holders up! And our seats back in the full upright position!....." everytime we listen to Albuquerque.

Umm........yeah...........

It's really pretty funny!

Guess you had to be there, huh?

LOL. Sounds funny to me! I was ten when that came out, tho. Great movie! I STILL think it's awesome that Al did a song for it, or they used one of his songs, or HOWEVER 'Polkamon' ended up there. Great song, btw. I laughed at it the first time I heard it, but I had no idea who had done it, until about a week ago, when I bothered looking it up.

Anyway...uh...kinda lost my train of thought...Ah well.

Why do you think Al chose Albuquerque of all cities? It's a very funny name and all but, face it, most names of cities in New Mexico are funny
