Okay, I got a working soundboard, but its 5mb due to all the soundbytes.
Does anyone know how I can optimize it so I can get the size down? (I already converted all the sound files to mp3's, I just need to optimize it visually)

Are you using Flash? If so you can go to File -> Publish Settings and choose the Flash tab. That tabe lets you adjust the audio and bitmap quality to reduce file size.Dr eBay @ Aug 22 2004, 07:26 PM wrote: Okay, I got a working soundboard, but its 5mb due to all the soundbytes.

Actually, I'm using a program that works similar to flash (and produces .SWF's), but it has no option of that type. Also, it doesn't use .FLA's, so I can't open the soundboard with the free trial of Flash MX I just downloaded. I was thinking more along the lines of an SWF optimizer.
Okay, I just found the official Flash Decompiler, which'll allow me convert the SWF into an FLA. However, it costs $40 bucks to enable that option. So, uh, it might take a little longer to upload the soundboard as I must now go and get the money to buy this.

Is your SWF protected? If not I might be able to upload it directly to Flash.
