I don't think you read all of that....the site is claiming that Weird Al has had multiple people "playing" as him through the years. I just saw Weird Al in concert friday. Of course he's alive. But is it the same person that wrote Eat It?Manda @ Sep 7 2004, 03:44 AM wrote: Its not true! That's a stupid rumor going around. Al is alive and well, he has a album out called Poodle Hat check it out.
Is There A Topic For This Already?

There's only one Al out there. Read the other questions on that page and you'll see that it's basically all false.
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!

Gosh, I was hoping it was fake. I tried getting in contact with the guy who made the site, but I didn't get through. The email came right back to me. I did some more research and found people on classmates.com who knew Alfred Yankovich in high school. The site claims his name was Alfred Matthews. If that were true, nobody would have known him.
Man, I literly started crying when I read that. ;_; This guy is my idol. I admire him and respect him so much. He was so nice when I met him in person. To hear that he's had multiple people playing him like that for money was absolutely devastating. I hope it's not true...I'm alittle more reassured now, but geez...that really scared me.....

Yes. And no.TheMegChan @ Sep 6 2004, 08:21 PM wrote: Here's a big n00bie question: Has Al ever been to this forum before? Has he ever posted on it? 0.o?
Actually, there has been more than one "Weird Al," you know. The character of Weird Al has become kind of like Bozo the Clown, where as performers rotate portraying him.
And it's not like Bozo. It's more like the Dread Pirate Roberts.
Welcome aboard, Meg. A word of advice... if you see the webpage that says Bermuda is dead? It ain't true either. Thankfully, our favorite drummer and webmeister and all around good egg is still alive and drumming.

LOL - I was gonna say that but you beat me to it!!scottidog @ Sep 7 2004, 05:50 AM wrote: And it's not like Bozo. It's more like the Dread Pirate Roberts.
Welcome again Meg. A helpful himt - unless it's on an official site (like weirdal.com), always assume anything unusual that you might read about a celebrity is just some sort of hoax - 99.999999999999% of the time, that's all it ever is. (even if the writer's sister's 4th grade English teacher's beautician once dated the cousin of the production assistant who worked on the set of a film that was being shot at the same time UHF was being filmed and had lunch with Al's business manager's personal dogwalker who SWEARS it's true!)
I come bearing a gift. I'll give you a hint: It's in my diaper and it's NOT a toaster.
