I think he could have dropped either the "amusing anecdote" about Marty & the sofa or the hungry-dude.
The song starts to run out of steam about then...

I think the part about the sofa is great. And it's a shout-out to a long-time fan. How cool is that?

I love the part about the sofa and Marty. I think the whole thing flows through pretty nicely, and if he cut anything out, it would have messed up the timing.
And GiF does not drone on

Sorry. I guess it's just the timing. It is at the end of the cd, so by then i am usually done with what I am doing. I take albuquerque over genius in france any day. Sorry I hurt your feelings.

Yeah, I don't think it would have sounded right with anything cut out. I think it's great! And the part about Marty and the sofa and the hungry man are two of the best parts IMO.
