Harper Simon's father is Paul Simon, who Al parodied with "Hit Me With A Rock."

(Also, Harper and Paul both performed on the Carl Perkins album "Go Cat Go.")

OK, Serge, you want an easy one? How about....... Eric Idle?

oh, harper simon, i thought it said harper simpson, my bad, i feel so embarassed

as for eric idle, i'm taking a less obvious route

eric idle was in the film "the rutles in all you need is cash" which also had george harrison and mick jagger in it.
al parodied george harrison on 2 occasions, and polka'ed the rolling stones on several occasions

Who the heck is Harper Simpson?
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

When Stevie Ray Vaughn died, it was during his tour with Eric Clapton. Elton John has also done shows with Clapton. Ben Folds performed on stage once with Elton during Elton's last Australia Tour, and Ben plays piano on Why Does This Always Happen To Me.

David Hyde Pierce

Dave Matthews (of Dave Matthews Band fame) has performed with Phish. Trey Anastasio was in Phish, and he was also in Oysterhead with Stewart Copeland, who was in the Police. Al parodied the Police with "King of Suede".

jeff beck was in the yardbirds.
the yardbirds had eric clapton in the band at one point.
eric clapton performed on the beatles song while my guitar gently weeps, and went on tour with george harrison.
al parodied both the beatles and george
