hehe, yeah, I think he was teasing us fans who always look for 27s. Or it was a sort of shout-out to us.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

What about the fact that it seems like it is pretty scattered. He does not finish any of his quests, it looks like.

My nephews love this song!

Beth, my sister, tried to explain the Columbia Record club to my 8-year-old nephew, Jacob. He sort of gets it, but I don't think he really understands how you REALLY want to get out of it but their music just sucks so there's nothing interesting to buy. That's something you have to experience to truly know.

Noah, my 2 1/2 year old nephew, can't pronounce ALB yet so he just calls it Sauerkraut. "Mommy, can I hear sauerkraut, pease?" (No "l" in please yet.)

He has the dialogue in the donut store memorized. Beth and Noah recorded it on my answering machine. Beth would ask if Noah had any donuts. Noah would answer correctly. He can't pronounce bavarian or cinnamon yet, but he has apple fritters down pat! He even pauses dramatically between "Wait a minute, I'll go check" and "NO! We're out of bear claws." I call my answering machine practically every day just to listen to it. It always makes me laugh.

Yeah, that's WAY cool! My 14-year-old brutha Kolya, who is also Russian, of course, can't keep himself not to quote Al's interview with Eminem daily! It goes like this: me quoting an Al part, and Kolya quotes Em's part. Not the best way for him to improve his English, but it's still great! :P

Can you get an mp3 of it somehow and post it somewhere? I think it would be cute to hear. Or just give us your phone number and well call it.

BAD NEWS DUDES and DUDETTES!

My electricity blinked on and off so the message is gone!!!!! I almost cried.

No, I was not able to get an MP3 of it, or even a tape. I sure wish I had! I am technologically impaired to the Nth degree. Can you record through a telephone handset?

I'll ask if maybe Beth can tape it again or something.

GAH! ACK! EEP!
