That's awesome, tws_27!!! Awesome!! Sounds like you had a great time, as well as the audience! And you probably introduced a whole bunch of people to Weird Al for the first time ever! I'm glad it went so well.

That's what really made it so fun, because whenever someone asked "man, where did you get that song?' (in a nice way, though) I told them it was Weird Al Yankovic (they wouldn't have gotten it if I had jut said 'Al') and almost everyone said, "Oh! Awesome!" Then they all asked me if I could burn them the song and some other Al stuff, but I told them to go buy the CD. Al needs to make a living, too, ya know!

My school is having fashion show later this year and I'm going to see if during the show, I can go on the stage with full Amish attire, like what Al wore in "Amish Paradise" and strut around for a bit. Gonna see if I can bring a pitch fork on stage too. Its gonna take a while to gather up full Amish attire but Itll be worth it.

They wouldn't allow pitchforks at my school because of a stabbing hazard, but that sounds like a really cool idea!

Well, as you probably know, i did not make it into the talent show this year, so this year i am going to plan ahead. Now, since this year i didnt make it with one of my own songs, i am going to go back to Al, but i don't know which song to do. I want to do something newer, that everyone would know, or something that would just make everyone laugh, these were my ideas...

If the talent show is next year, there might be a NEW song to to do!

I'd vote for Trash Day. Nelly's really popular, rap isn't too demanding of the vocalist, and honestly, what could be funnier than roaches wearin' slippers?

Very true, OE, because Al has said that he will probably start touring next summer, which we all assume is when he next album is coming out. But since he started touring last time around Junish-Julyish (I think) and the album was releasing late May, then that might mean that he might release the album mere weeks too late for you to use anything off of. Oh the irony of all ironies

yea, i could just hope for a new song to come out, but i wouldn't wanna take the risk, out of the ones i mentioned earlier, these are the ones that i am really considering...

I was gonna bring my accordion in for the talent show and perform "My Bologna," but I didn't because somebody would probably try killing my accordion. A lot of kids at my school don't like "Weird Al" for some reason. Probably because they are all braindead morons!
