3. DTBS: This time between 4 songs, Yoda, This Is The Life, I want A New Duck, and DTBS.. well my "most played" WAY song *of all time* by far is
I want A New Duck so that will be my (rather surprising) answer. The other songs have plenty of supporters by IWAND is totally underrated and I LOVE it so much, it's so fantastically silly I don't know how anyone can not laugh..
4. Polka Party: Not a hard choice this one...
Don't Wear Those Shoes is by far my stand-out track
5. Even Worse: It's between Stuck In A Closet With Vanna White, Melanie and Good Old Days, with
Melanie edging out Vanna by half a length
6. UHF: Absolutely NO competition here
UHF gets a walk-over from a field of non-starters
7. Off The Deep End: It's a photo finish between Trigger Happy and Taco Grande and
Taco Grande gets the stewards decision
8. Alapalooza: Wow, toughest so far.. a lot of favourite songs on here, YD&U, Bedrock Anthem, Franks 2000"TV, Traffic Jam, Talk Soup, Livin' In The Fridge.. oh dont make me choose! I'll narrow it down to Bedrock Anthem and Livin' In The Fridge first.. noo still a tough decision, arggh.. the nod goes to
Bedrock Anthem but only by the smallest possible margin!
9. Bad Hair Day.... This is going to be impossible, I'd forgotten what a strong album this is... Easier to say what is NOT my favourite (Phoney Calls) and I don't ever pick polka medleys because theyre not his words even though I love The Alternative Polka and I'll also rule out TNSWC, ISSOY, SI, and now with
great regret, SYBG, EYKIW, IRL and argghh, Cavity Search and Callin' in Sick
.. and cutting to the important bit, the monster here is
Amish Paradise unexpectedly out-running Gump in the final furlong
10. Running With Scissors: Al's best album.. with Al's best song on it....
It's All About The Pentiums romps away like a cheetah from a REALLY incredibly strong field, gets to the end and turns round and laughs at the others MILES behind
11. Poodle Hat: Another very strong album, with a lot of awesome tracks, but
Couch Potato gets this by a mile from Hardware Store, WBUL, GIF and Trash Day
12: Straight Outta Lynwood: OK 3 stand outs here, CBNC, W&N and
I'll Sue Ya , the raw energy of the latter taking the title
