TALENT SHOW UPDATE

Good news and bad news....

Good- Tryouts are next Thursday, and i got my music yesturday, so that should be good

Bad- I realized on the music, Nelly's version is about 30 seconds longer than Al's so what i plan to do is i will sing the 1st two choruses after the last one to fill the time, so it should work out

I finally got a video of my Pentiums act. Well, it's not from last year, it's actually from about two weeks ago, and a whole lot better. The whole story:

My history teacher, a very strict man, was apparently not at the talent show last year to see my act. It just so happened that I wore the costume I wore for the act on Spirit Day a week before Halloween, and it sparked the principal's memory, and they got to talking, and then Mr. Gray (history teacher) asked me to perform my act in class "sometime". That "sometime" was two Fridays ago. But the clencher was when I handed him RWS to play, he mumbled, "I love this album." I was like :oo but I didn't say anything. I mean, he does make a lot of jokes in class, but I would have never expected him to be into Al, or comedy music in general (he talked about Tom Lehrer and Stan Freburg during parent-teacher-student conferences last week). I guess that proves that Al fans can truly be anybody. Now he's my favorite teacher. :D
Luckily, he taped the act, and was generous enough to burn me a copy (mind you, it was a CD supplied by me ) I haven't even watched it all the way through (I can't bring myself to). Here it is I'm gonna regret posting this:

"It's All About the Pentiums" - Mr. Gray's Class, 11/18/05

I now return to to your regularly scheduled programming, or Abbott, whichever you prefer.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I'm not being condescending, I'm too busy thinking about far more important things you wouldn't understand.
