I don't know if I said this already, but I'm no singer. I could probably sing backup though. I'm a small guy, but I can sing really low.

I forgot to mention I also play the baritone, which is like a smaller version of the tuba. It would be perfect for a ploka! I haven't played it in a while though, I may be a bit rusty.

PS - I've tried to record on my PC with a mic and send the file to a friend who was going to record his voice....it turned out horrible. We need a place with good acoustics (like a bathroom :P) otherwise it doesn't work. Thats why I said if we all go to Alcon, we could record together there. I'm willing to drive a LITTLE out of the way, but not to California or Australia :).

Not to be a wet towel, but does using Al's silhouette count as using his image?

I dunno, that's why it would have to be okay with Bermuda and Jay.

I just had a great idea.

If we're planning on selling these CDs, we should have the profits go to the Weird Al Star fund. I see we're going to have a merchandise page on the site, so that would be a great way to raise funds.

And should we start posting any songs we may have? I've got one already.
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!

Anth, if this is going to be a WOWAY tribute Album, then I think proceeds should go to support WOWAY. If not, then the graphic I did will be a problem, because I created it with the idea that it would somehow be used to solve the funding problem here.

If by chance the funds raised were more than what's needed to pay for the needs here, then I have no problem with excess funds being donated in WOWAY's name to the Weird Al Star fund.

I don't think the two projects have to be in conflict. I am 27 hundred percent behind both of them.
