Al's likeness on "Stripperella"

Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

QUOTE It's possible that Kid Rock is an Al fan and asked for a cartoon Al.

It may be more likely that Stan Lee (creator of the show, along with other comics such as Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk, for those of you who don't know) could be a fan and slotted him in there. Kid Rock is involved mostly because his wife, Pam Anderson, is the voice of Stripperella.

Hopefully you don't think I am as well. :nervous:

Oh, I know -- and I was the one who TOLD you!

But in this case, it was the only episode guide for the one-month-old series "Stripperella" that I could find on the web. And the info there matched what Adrian had mentioned -- that is, Al was a non-speaking guest at Kid Rock's party. So I figured THIS TV Tome series editor was better than the one for "FOP" and "Pet Star". [Remember, on TV Tome, each series and each performer has its OWN volunteer editor -- who may or may not be a complete nincompoop ...]

Umm. It's probably more likely that they were just looking for celebrities that would be humorous to see standing in the background at the party. If any of those people were really Al's fans, they would have drawn him the way he looks now.

Hey guys. The episode of "Stripperella" with Al's likeness [Episode 5] had already aired on Thursday August 21st, NOT the 28th like I expected [came a week earlier than I originally thought]. I missed the beginning of the episode, but I caught the scene with Al. It was most certainly Al. He has no speaking part, and is on screen for about 5 seconds -- literally ... He's in a red and blue Hawaiian print shirt, shorter curly hair, glasses, and mustache -- definitely Old School Al.

Oh, don't take my word for it ....

Now, it appears they've changed the schedule again ... by my earlier calculations, the episode was to be rerun tonight [August 25th] ... but it's not. The episodes are running from first to last starting this Thursday August 28th. Click here for details of the broadcast dates. This means Episode 5 will not likely be airing again until Thursday September 27th.

I'll keep you guys informed!!
