I agree. I think it will be on the ALbum, but it will just be a style-parody and not a direct parody. Always have.

The first single from Straight Outta Lynwood will be released on Al's MySpace on August 21 at 6:00 PM Pacific time.

This topic will contain discussion about the first single, including but not limited to the title, lyrics, quotes, etc. If you do not wish to hear about this information, leave this topic NOW!

Seriously.

Like I told people in the spoiler forum, if you want to hold out for the album to hear the song, that's your choice, but you're really chancing it by visiting the forum in any capacity after next Monday. The song will be considered released at that point, and while there will be a topic to discuss it in Music and Record, there's really not much we can do at that point, except ask people to keep discussion about the song to that topic, and ask people to please keep lyrics, quotes, etc, out of their signatures out of respect for those who want to wait. If you visit and you get spoiled, it's your own fault.

To be safe, I also highly recommend disabling signatures at that point. (Go to 'My Controls' --> 'Board settings' and select 'No' for the signature question.) You may also want to disable avatars and images too. Probably would be a good idea to steer clear of the "Al's MySpace" topic too.
