I still see no link. :( Is my computer messing up? All I see posted from Mega is "Gee guys, has no one has been today?"

What would explain this glitch? Blah.

Any chance that THIS is the song Al will be premeiring on his MySpace page this Monday (rather than the previously assumed release of "White & Nerdy")?
Seems odd that he'd be releasing two new songs in a three day period. Makes much more sense to release one song and its video in the same week though!
Plus, it sure would be funny to have DDTS released as a free download on Al's page (directly contradicting the name of the song)!!!

Hmm, I don't know what the problem is, but it's supposed to be a link to Yahoo! Videos. Don't Download This song premieres there on 8/23.

I still think the premiere on myspace will be for "White and Nerdy". I think Al is just being really generous this time out.

:D
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Hmmm odd, a link never showed up on the "here" before, but now it is. Oh well. Hey that is a good point. Maybe Al won't be premiering White and Nerdy on Myspace. Allowing "Don't Download This Song" to be downloaded on Myspace would be ironic and funny now wouldn't it? :D

That'd be kind of ironic. Another artist (who's an Al fan) named MC Lars has a song called Download This song, and on his MySpace, makes it a free download. But the more the minute goes by, I'm HOPING the song on Al's MySpace is WaN and the video to DDTS premieres on Yahoo!. I want different Al songs! not the same!

So, will you guys be going to this video premiere? I'm still debating. 2 out of 12 tracks before the album comes out...I don't know...

I just think that if he were premiereing DDTS on his myspace, he'd have given us the title. I, too want W&N to be the song on myspace. That way, we get two new Al songs in one week!

Anyway, the info I mentioned before on Plympton's site says this:

"Finally, we can talk about that "secret project" we mentioned a few newsletters ago - Bill has animated a video for the master song parodist "Weird Al" Yankovic, whose new album "Straight Outta Lynwood" hits stores on Sept. 26. The track is called "Don't Download This Song" and describes the perils of on-line music file-sharing. Watch for the video on MTV and VH-1 in August!
For more info: http://www.weirdal.com"

So that's cool - it'll be on MTV and VH1 too!

The rule we've been using is that unless it's posted on weirdal.com or Al's MySpace, it's a spoiler. So, for now, it's a spoiler only. I did add it to the calendar though, so non-spoiler people can decide for themselves whether to view it...

I thought about that. It's possible, I guess. We're all assuming "White And Nerdy" is the first single, but there's never been any confirmation of that. However, Al's first singles have always been a parody, so having the first single be an original would be unprecedented.

Does he realize it's August 19 already? Well, August does have 31 days, so I guess they have that going for them. That would be totally cool though! All this information is making me start to question whether we'll be hearing "White And Nerdy" or "Don't Download This Song" on Monday! It the video's gonna be on MTV and VH1 sometime this month, I wonder why weirdal.com hasn't mentioned anything about it yet?
