I've had it on constant rotation since I downloaded it. I know it's new but it ranks very close to Dog Eat Dog (but not quite One More Minute) in my list of ALL TIME Al original songs. :inlove:
This means something. This is important.

The key in that Ask Al is the line "I have very mixed feelings about it." I think this song has captured that sentiment PERFECTLY. He's displayed and poked fun of BOTH viewpoints simultaneously.

Also, I'll take this opportunity to point out that this is probably the FIRST time that Al has ever DIRECTLY tackled a real-life social issue in a song. "Trigger Happy" and "The Night Santa Went Crazy" took jabs at social satire, but this one hits a real topic dead-on. I wonder if it's a sign of things to come.

I've had it going nonstop since I got it. iTunes tells me it's about 14-15 times counting the one I'm listening to now. :P

I agree, the music is great. The chorus behind Al is really good too.
How many molecules are in Leonard Nimoy's butt anyway?

I love it, too, El. He sounds fantastic. :inlove:
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

They hear "fatass" when Al says "Cause you start off stealing songs" at the end of the first verse. The way he sings it sounds like fatass to the casual ear.

Well, ok.

I could still see it if people heard where I said.

But the context would surely lead people to realize that "fatass" wouldn't make any sense used in that way. Come on, people! Use your context clues! That's what they're there for! Don't make me make you pull out your highlighters! :stern:

I like it.

but...

It may grow on me more.. kinda like WBYL.. I REALLY didn't like that song until i saw it live.. that put a whole new perspective on the song.

However, I DO love the instrumental of the song, and AL does indeed sound terrific, just not sure if i'm crazy about the whole.. song put together.. ya know?

I do like it though, don't get me wrong.. :-p

Oh yeah, haven't you heard? "White and Nerdy" is about the debate over the effect of video game violence on teens, "Close but No Cigar" takes a look at the history of the Cuban trade embargo, and "Weasel Stomping Day" is virtually an advertisement for PETA....
