Ok, everyone. I'm posting this in the spoiler forum as well so all audiences can see this, but here is a clip of Al saying "You cheap bastard" for those of you still having trouble hearing it (generously hosted by Weirdo Jace).

I'd say that maybe Al will touch on social issues once in a while, but I wouldn't expect it to be more than one song on each album.Bruce the Duck @ Aug 21 2006, 09:58 PM wrote: Also, I'll take this opportunity to point out that this is probably the FIRST time that Al has ever DIRECTLY tackled a real-life social issue in a song. "Trigger Happy" and "The Night Santa Went Crazy" took jabs at social satire, but this one hits a real topic dead-on. I wonder if it's a sign of things to come.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I bet we will hear it before the 26th of Sept....algonacchick @ Aug 21 2006, 07:28 PM wrote: Well, everyone who said DDTS was going to be the song we heard tonight, Congrats! All us White and Nerdy hopefuls will just have to wait until September 26th to hear that one.
I love this song! Al sounds fantastic! Too bad you can't add any of his songs anymore. I really wanted to add that one to my myspace. Ah, well.

btw I am shocked that people are so bent up about the word bastard...
it is a word folks... there are no "bad" words just words that society tells you children should not hear... why block out any part of the world? even if you censor it out ...it is still there.
My virgin ears indeed.

I think this song used to be longer and something got cut. Why?
Go to the line where he mentions Grokster and Kazaa and stuff. Right as it's ending, pay attention to the background chant going with it. Now listen as it abruptly cuts off before fading out naturally as it goes into part two of that verse. And as the new part begins, you hear only the second half of an "ooooooh" background vocal. I only really noticed it while listening to headphones. And I also possibly only noticed it because I'm anal at doing edits of songs while maintaining a perfect flow as if the song was never cut at all.
Is this an interesting find or am I being too overanalytical (isn't that what this spoiler forum is about)?
EDIT: this transition happens at exactly 38 seconds. Get headphones.
