Geez, people. It's a joke because he said it on the fadeout and you'd have to REALLY be paying attention to hear it. It's no different from when Al said "But you're just a pain in the ass" at the end of Phony Calls.
I can't believe so many people are freaking out over the use of the word "bastard."

I'm with you, Jace-- truthfully, I find it more amusing than upsetting or weird. Caught me off-guard the first time, but now I can't listen to the song without turning it up at that part out of habit.
Plus, you can't even hear it when you listen to it at a sane volume anyway, so what's the big deal? =P None of my friends at school that heard the premiere last night said they caught it until I mentioned it to them.

Are we playin' horseshoes, honey? No, I don't think we are...

If this is the ALTV I think it is, wasn't he referring to the furry, four-legged kind that so happened to be onscreen when he said it? =Pweirdalfan95 @ Aug 22 2006, 06:05 PM wrote: Al said Ass once... but in an ALTV. PM if you want a link.![]()

The lead single is still White and Nerdy. They're filming a big spectacular video for it right now. This is simply the first song to be released to the public.

Yeah, really...as far as culturally offensive terms go, bastard is pretty mild.weirdojace @ Aug 22 2006, 02:05 PM wrote: I can't believe so many people are freaking out over the use of the word "bastard."
