You never know...it could go "On stomping day!"Kevbo1987 @ Aug 1 2006, 08:33 PM wrote: That sounds like an interesting possibility, but "Weasel Stomping Day" has more syllables than "Holiday".

Kevbo's right.
Notice for example, how "Ode to a Superhero" has EXACTLY the same number of syllables in the title as "Piano Man." Or how "The Plumbing Song" had exactly the same number as "Baby, Don't Forget My Number/Blame it on the Rain." An even better example is the way "Jerry Springer" matches with "One Week," or how "Gump" has the same number of syllables as "Lump." Well, that last one's a bad example, but you get the point!
I'm just playin' with you Kevbo! But yeah, the point's kinda been made repeatedly that the syllables in the titles don't need to match. Al started breaking that pattern with"Headline News," and pretty much abandoned it with "Running with Scissors" and "Poodle Hat."
But for the record, I really don't think WSD is a parody.

Nothing we haven't already figured out, but in "Twisted Toyfare Theatre Volume 7," Al mentions the "Robot Chicken" thing.
Do you think that means Al (or his action figure likeness?) will appear in the video?

Is there a possibility that the song is a style parody of Dragostei Din Tei? Maybe Firelynn wasn't familiar with that song.
