FULL DISCLOSURE: I will be hunkered over my computer tonight trying my damndest to find the album, even though I'm still a dumb newbie at the whole bittorrent thing and will probably be unsuccessful.

Also, I must say that I have had Downloader's Remorse lately for obtaining the first two leaked tracks from SOL (W&N & CI). So I broke down and finally ordered the AL-bums I still did not own on CD (still had them on ancient cassette tape). I went to Amazon.com and bought the self-titled WAY, IN-3D and POLKA PARTY! Never knew there was a "Special Thanks" write-up on WAY, as the cassette case didn't have one. Even stranger, the PP cassette sleve DID have a "Special Thanks", but the new CD does not!

Oh well. . .at least I've completed my Weird Al CD collection. (And my guilt has subsided a bit.)

Now, if only I could afford to fill out my collection... XP I totally would if I could.

I'm not going to try to get the whole CD early... W&N was enough for me. (I didn't want or get CI.) I can wait on the rest.

Same with me. I've been waiting for September 26th for so long, I want to to be a very special day. Downloading the entire album early would completely ruin it.

As far as I can tell the only thing that makes it special and unique is the number 26. For me the day I listen to the album will be the "special day" regardless of something stupid like the date...which will hopefully be the seventh.

I agree. I've been building the 26th up in my mind for a really long time. I don't want to listen to the album early and ruin that day for myself.

Although I will not keep it in any of my Shared Folders (providing I find it in the first place). It will just for my advance listening pleasure.

Besides, once I get the real album on 9/26, it will still be new to me in a way, since it will have the remaining animated music videos, behind-the-scenes stuff, etc. This way, I will get TWO special days instead of just one!

So I'm still buying the album. I'm not a cheap bastard, just an impatient (and slightly selfish) bastard.

What if no stores near you have a copy on the 26th? Sure, it's unlikely, but there goes all your "building up".

I have the CD too (torrents RULE!!!) and the polka starts off with the chicken dance! it sounds like an old school polka. The only part of slither by velvet revolver you hear is the guitar riff played on the accordion. Its not as good as I was expecting it to be.

BTW the CD is great
