This is my favorite Al song ever. No question about it. SPOILER The radio part was hilarious.

you don't have to use spoiler tags guys. this is the spoiler forum. I'm getting tired of having to highlight all this :(

The ending is perfect. As are all of the cliffhangers.

Oh and also. DID I MENTION THE DRIVE-THRU?!

so, tell me. is the whole thing about the drive through, or does it go off on other tangents?

Yeah, the entire song takes place in a drive thru.

Well, it actually starts off with Al and his wife at home and deciding to eat out. And they drive to the drive-thru.

No, they don't have to use Spoiler Tags, but I'd really appreciate if they continued to do so. I don't want to leave the Spoiler Forum completely, but I don't want to know lyrics either.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Um... "Trapped in the Drive Thru" is brilliant. It drags on for 10 minutes because it's making fun of the ridiculousness of Trapped in the Closet (which is FORTY-FIVE minutes). It also drags on in the same way the song did, which adds to its hilariousness.

The song is a full-blown satire. Al is making fun of how stupid TITC is. I don't think you're realizing that.

I realize it, but it shouldn't take 10 minutes to tell a joke!! I'd imagine it'd been even more of a drag (pardon the pun) on future listens. That's great if you enjoy it, but it's not my thing, so it's gone.

I hope I'm not violating the forum rules by stating my opinion of songs on the new album.
