These are transcoded MP3s. They were originally from a much lower source than what they were re-encoded at. They stink, and the quality bothers me, and I am by no means an audiophile.

Why do you think these aren't showing up on Oink and other trackers like that? Because they're deleted because they are transcoded. Check the log.

This is a great polka, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I did AWP and Polka Power. It is slower...I think. And there were a couple of bad song choices. But it was pretty good. I'll listen to it.

well, they wouldn't be allowed at oink becuase they are 160, even if they weren't transcodes. They do sound like they are transcoded from 96 or 128. I kind of suck at identifying bitrates though.

Allright, what have been the worst bitrates so far for these songs. They are ALL probablly transcodes. Also, what tracker did this first leak on.

PS I am looking for the songs but not really.

worst bitrates? Don't really know what you mean. I think CI was leaked at 192 a while back. W&N also. these are all ~160VBR, but they sound like 96kbps or worse, that's why people are suspecting transcodes.

I haven't caved it, just to let ya'll know and this is really the only thread I'm even looking at in the spoiler forum, at this point. The reason being is that I'm hoping that SOMEONE who has heard the new polka will put together a mix of the original songs used in the polka, with the correct parts included.

I'd be most grateful if someone has the skills to do that!
