Didn't Al have to get permission from Led Zeppelin to use "Black Dog" in the song? Cause they have a reputation for not letting people use their music for stuff. I'm surprised that worked.

I would guess he had to.

Unless they re-recorded that part of the song. I don't know if that's legal or not though.

It sounds pretty obvious that Al and the band re-recorded it, but I think they'd have to get permission to even do that.

Live, no. On an album you sell, yes.

This sounds like it's going to be one of those "Albaquerce-Bubolous Bouffont" songs.

It's going to be good...

ah, thanks. and i see you fixed it up a bit too. i didn't really feel like using capitals all the time or proper punctuation since i was typing out the entire thing. mind you though, i would've done it properly if it wasn't so danged long.

excellent.
and..

no way. that is DEFINITELY the real version of Black Dog. i've heard it a billion times. i don't even think they could reproduce it to sound old.

(dammit, i did two separate posts because i didn't know how to do two quotes in one post.. and i don't know how to erase a post. so here is a wasted post with nothing on it but an explanation as to why it's here.)
