Kind of, Adult Swim puts its shows on the fix (internet) on friday, then shows it on T.V. on sunday. Friday is when I watch new venture brothers episodes, so I would know of the fix. If you want to check it out go onto adultswim.com now and click on fix.

Thank you, Mecca! You're exactly right. It's Al going all Jonathan Swift on us. He isn't advocating people go out and stomp weasels, he's making fun of society for being comfortable with stuff like slaughterhouses, animal testing labs, etc. because we've been doing it for years and everyone is so desensitized over it.
This song uses exaggeration (i.e. people actually celebrating killing animals) to point out the absurdity of our apathy towards the killing of animals, just because we like to eat steak and wear make-up so much. (Okay, well, I don't wear make-up. . .but I do eat meat.)

sorta like that episode of the Simpsons where everyone clubs the snakes as tradition and Lisa is the only one who sees something wrong with it.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! You mean to tell me that Jonathon Swift wasn't serious about cannibalizing Irish children? That totally would have solved the country's problems!

i don't see it that way, and i don't think a lot of people will. this, i think, is the only AL song i can honestly say i don't "like". hate to be a downer, but this song is just bad. :(

You're entitled to your opinion, of course. But just to play devil's advocate--I'm not coming down on you--the obvious question would be: why don't you have a problem with humans being killed in Al songs? (An incomplete list of examples would include songs like WDTAHTM, Good Old Days, and both of his Christmas songs.)
