I've actually changed my mind on "Do I Creep You Out". Upon my first listen, I wasn't all that impressed, but after listening a few more times, I've changed my score of it to an 8/10.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I've listened to Pancreas some 2 1/2 times and I just can't get into it.

Do I Creep You Out is an okay stalker song, but really forgettable.

Everything else is genius.

OK... my turn. After listening to each song at least ten times, here's what I think.

1. White and Nerdy-- 10/10 Probably my favorite song on the album. A great lead single, and like many others here, I can relate to a lot-- and I mean a LOT-- of the song. :F I like it better than both IAATP and Couch Potato.

2. Pancreas-- 8/10 This song really needed time to grow on me. After the first listen I probably would have only given it a 4 or 5, but after several listens I really started to appreciate it more. It's very layered and complex. Listening to the 5.1 mix on the DVD side made me really appreciate the song even more.

3. Canadian Idiot-- 6/10 A decent parody, but not the best. My second-least favorite parody on the album, but not one I'd skip, either.

4. I'll Sue Ya-- 8/10 I really like this song, a dead on style parody of Rage Against The Machine, a band I was a big fan of back in the day. This song probably made me laugh out loud more than any other on the album.

5. Polkarama-- 9/10 Really like this polka. Can't dethrone my favorite, the Hot Rocks Polka, but it's up there.

6. Virus Alert-- 10/10 OK, I'll call it a tie for my favorite song on the album. :) Really, I love this song. It's so much fun to try to sing along with, and I agree.. it really sounds like classic Al... like a lost cut from In 3-D or Dare to be Stupid.

7. Confessions Pt. 3-- 8/10 Nice parody.. funny, and made me laugh out loud a lot.

8. Weasel Stomping Day-- 7/10 Incredibly silly... but fun, and short enough that the joke doesn't wear itself out.

9. Close, But No Cigar-- 9/10 My second favorite original on the album. I liked this song even more once I learned the lyrics, and I appreciated the Cake style parody-- they're one of my favorite bands. The style parody was so dead on that my girlfriend, who's not a huge Al fan-- immediately picked up that it was a Cake style parody about 5 seconds into the song.

10. Do I Creep You Out?-- 3/10 IMO, the weakest song on the album. Don't like the original, don't like the parody, don't like the lyrics. My only "skippable" song on this album.

11. Trapped in the Drive Thru-- 10/10 I just don't know where to start. I can really, REALLY identify with this song. I remember driving one of my friends crazy one night while me and my girlfriend were trying to figure out something to eat for dinner, and we had almost the exact conversation at the beginning of this song. (Well, except for the "liver" part. :D ) Anyway, it's so dead on tho the original-- I'm glad I listened to the original first.

12. Don't Download This Song-- 9/10 Really like it. It's fun to sing along with. I did download it, though-- sorry Al! 8)

Anyway, where it ranks in the Pantheon of All Things Al, I can't decide yet, but I already know I like it better than Poodle Hat. My favorite ALbum so far is Running With Scissors, and this one is pretty close.

You mean we can do that?!

In that case, I'm going to rate I'll Sue Ya a 9/10.

Sure. A lot of people change their opinion after listening to the album a few times. Heck, the first time I listened to Poodle Hat, I thought it was mediocre. Obviously, I changed my mind and now it's my second favorite album.

Wow, I am posting here a little late....

Anyways, right after school on tuesday I went to the record store by my house and bought SOL. I raced home and popped it into the DVD player. First I listened to the whole thing through and this is what I think of the songs:

White and Nerdy: I had heard this before from Al's myspace, but actually hearing it on the CD for the first time was great! I love this song, hilarious lyrics... Al really did a great job on this one. And the music video... WOW!! I still think it is REALLY cool how fans got to be in it :) I also liked how Al switched between being white and nerdy and the rapper... Very good visuals and very funny! song: 9/10 video: 10/10

Pancreas: This song is great, totally not what I suspected. I like the song a lot, very good vocals. But the music video is not the best. song: 8/10 video 6/10

Canadian Idiot: Good song, people say that it is an obvious idea for a parody but I think Al did a great job w/ it. Making fun of candians is allways funny :P The only thing I didn't like was how short it was. 8.5/10

I'll Sue Ya: I think that the music really matches the subject of the song. " I sued Ben Aflect... Do I really need a reason?" I really like the beginning of the video. Hilarious! song: 9/10
video: 8/10

Polkarama!: Alright! Al went back to the old school polka :D nuff said :P 10/10

Virus Alert: This song doesn't really relate to me much.... I have a mac :P song: 8/10 video: 8/10

Confessions Part III: Really funny lyrics, but I just don't like the music that much. Probably my least favorite parody. 7.5/10

Weasel Stomping Day: LOL I love this song, completelly different from the rest on the album... just plainly dememnted. :D 9/10 video 10/10

Close But No Cigar: WOW!! This is my favorite song on the album... Hilarious lyrics and amazing music. "I was crazy like manson about her"  Just one of the many hilarious lines in this song. Hopefully he does this one live :) The video is also my favorite, it is messed up (which isn't surprising) but in a good way. It matches the song really good and is stuck in my head. Whenever I listen to the song I picture the video in my head scene by scene. song: 11/10 video: 11/10

Do I Creep You Out: I actually haven't listened to this one that much. But I think I like it... don't have much to say about it. 8/10

Trapped In The Drive-Thru: :whoot: Amazing! I allways love when Al tells a long story. This one is amazing! He somehow writes a (hilarious) 11 minute song about going to get something to eat. Great parody!! Would love to see a video for it, and possibly live. 10/10

Don't Download This Song: GREAT vocals, and i love the irony. Not the funniest song in my opinion but definitely shows how talented Al is. When I first heard it before the video was premiered I could really picture it in my head... unfortunately I don't like the video that much.  song: 9/10 video: 7/10

All in all I think that SOL is one of Al's best and well worth the wait.

Oh just thought some of you would like to know that when I bought the CD they had about 14 of them, and I went back to get another today and I got the last one... sold pretty fast in my opinion! They said they are getting more in asap.

I actually never listened to Poodle Hat*, because I felt there was no way the content could possibly live up to the sheer inspired lunacy of the album cover. To this day, it remains unopened on my shelf.

*This anecdote is not really true, but I feel it's a good story nonetheless.
