I love the Zep riff, too. It just makes it more realisitic, because he says he turns on the radio. Plus, Jimmy Page is a fan, so Al asked if he could use it. I also love the "click". I laugh every time.

I think Ryan would be cool with it had Al used a rap song.

I'm not a Zepplin fan either, but I love that part of the song, just because it's so random. When you listen to the instrumental track, you can hear more clearly that the ENTIRE song is the same beat over and over and over and over for 11 minutes. The way the music just suddenly changes to Zepplin is hilarious! I didn't laugh the first time, but the next several times I couldn't stop laughing!

Yeah, the reason Al did that was not to please Led Zeppelin fans. He realized just how BORING the song was! I mean, it's just same thing over and over. And then to just cut to rock music for 15 seconds is hilarious because of the randomness of it.

I was laughing so loudly, while being sick (this morning I thought I had larynghitis) that I made this odd kind of squealing/hacking sound....I know, lovely right....but I am BEYOND glad I subjected myself to the original R. Kelly debacle first..because it added SO much to the song...THIS song is downright amazing, and I can't say enough about it...the funniest part is, because of the way the song is set up, it all sounds like Al is telling us about a real life experience..and I just...I just...

Sorry guys, I'm kiiinda freaking out right now, but this is one of the best parodies I've heard in a while, and without a doubt the most clever on the album. I am a Zeppelin fan and while I didn't recognize that song originally, Kev is right. It breaks up the ridiculous monotony, and that's EXACTLY what Al was poking fun at...kind of, "If you haven't noticed by now these are the same beats over and over in the background..well..thereyago!" Probably also added it as an homage (:)) and also to help those who maybe hadn't heard the original get a better idea at what he was poking fun at, specifically.

I didn't like it the first two times but it's a nice break in the monotony of the rest of the song.

I've listened to it a few times now. I am starting to like it. The music is catchy. I didn't notice untill reading these posts that the same beat was used for most of the song. However, I like Albequrque and Genius in France better.
