So when are the Grammys?

I read the nominees for the Grammys (they came out yesterday.) SOL wasn't even eligible to be in this years Grammys (because it came out too late in the year) but it will be eligable for next year's Grammys. Sigh....

Let's hope it wins.

Ah, can't believe he missed the deadline. If SOL doesn't deserve a Grammy, I don't know what comedy album does.

OE hit the nail right on the head. Because of the light Al and the band are often portrayed in, people seem to forget exactly how talented they truly are. I'm especially happy to hear Rolling Stone do a 180 on their opinion of Al. Not only is it high praise coming from them, but to have a complete change of heart, critics TRULY have to be impressed.

And just to think if the whole Atlantic Records incident didn't happen, he would have made the deadlines, but there's always next year's Grammys.

I think those were the nominations for the Latin Grammys that were announced. The deadline for releases for the traditional Grammys is (IIRC) today, so SOL should qualify.

I had an idea - we create a topic just for Al pictures. It would include pics from the video shoot of White and Nerdy, and other cool pics? I a new member, so I can't start a topic. What do ya think?
