Yeah, I noticed...I actually would have suspected Melvin, the kid from Phony Calls, but great that you found it. ;) Melvin, I believe, comes from Mad Magazine's old "default" name for basically everyone, that is, before Alfred.

Actually, I don't know if Al meant that as a reference to IRL. There are just certain names that Al likes to use because he finds them funny. Like George, Paul, Frank, and of course, his favorite - Bob.

Hmmm... I think of the 80s sitcom "Perfect Strangers" (with Balki & "Cousin Larry") everytime I hear that line. ;)
Every time I use my brain I get in trouble.

Another thing about this song that just tickles my funny bone is the way their ideas about where to go out for dinner just plummeted from The Ivy, which is a real L.A. restaurant that costs about $80 a plate and frequently has celebrities eating there, down to the drive-thru burger joint. I wonder whether he would have gone to The Ivy in his bunny slippers?

So... here's a question. WHICH burger joint was it? Does anybody know of one that has root beer, cheeseburgers (with onions), chicken sandwiches and curly fries? And comes in at just under six bucks? Overanalyzing minds want to know.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

I can't vouch for the prices, but Jack-In-The-Box offers all four items and a drive-thru. That may be a place to start.
Bonus: Their chicken sandwich is on the 99 cent menu. Thus, removing it from the order would have made it come out almost even.

I don't know if A&W has chicken sandwiches, but I know they have all of the other stuff. Do they have A&W's in California?
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

If I'm not mistaken, Hardee's has all of that, but I don't think they're in California either. What about Carl's Jr.? It's the same company.

And yet, "Super Size" is a McTrademark.
