I just watched it the first time. Very well done! It felt... artsy. I really liked it. One of the best videos.

Has anyone listened to this song in 5.1 surround on the DVD side and noticed the odd way Al's voice is isolated in the center channel and kinda drowns out all the background singers?

I love this song. It makes me really glad I waited until the ALbum came out to hear it.

Just out of curiosity, Did anybody else notice the similarities in the "Don't take away money from artists just like me" section to the episode of South Park where Stan, Kyle, and Kenny get busted for downloading music on the internet and then are shown the minor inconveniences that artists have to face because people music?

Let me check. While I am, it was the episode where the A plot envolved Cartman making the Christian rock band, Faith + 1, with Butters and Token.

I'm sure he did. Al's a fan of South Park. Incidentally, "South Park" also did a bit of a spoof of R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet" also. And they also make quite a lot of Canadian jokes. Al and the SP animators have a very similar sense of humor.

South Park's Trapped in the Closet spoof was nothing like Al's at all, though. Many, many shows did TitC spoofs at one point in time.

I think Canadian Jokes are pretty universal...well...within America, at least

I...know that. I was pointing out that they go after similar comedic targets, such as Canadians, illegal downloads, and R. Kelly.
