Well, I made a SOL cookie. I think it turned out kinda cute. Sorry this scan gives the face a blurry look, but there is not a decent battery in this house for me to use in my camera. Anyway, here's the cookie:

Very nice! Good detail on the "Lynwood" lettering. (that's the part that always fouls me up on birthday cakes)

Thanks, guys! It's a lot harder to write tiny letters on a cookie than it is to write on a cake. It took me three or four tries! Plus, I had to make the brim of his hat seperately and attach it. This was a little more labor intensive than my other cookies. Glad you guys like it.

Wow! You're very good with the pastry bag! And it looks delicous! I just want to eat my computer screen! Although, I doubt my monitor tastes any good...

psst, it's chocolate. Painted on, except for the hair. I use a parchment bag for that.

How do you make vegan cookies? I suppose they could be decorated with frosting made with margarine, eh? Just curious.

Btw, Al has eaten my cookies before, because he's really more a vegetarian. He just tries to avoid eggs and dairy sometimes.

I make vegan cookies using substitutes, like Pure, a soya/sunflower spread that tastes like butter.
