Yes, you freak. I don't mind dancing, but DDR? It's... it's... terrible! Gah!

Excuse me? It just happens to be one of the most successful video game identities to come out of Japan since its introduction in 1998.

DDR is awesome! You get to dance, have fun with friends, and have great music. They have workout mode also if you want to loose some calories.

I used to be kind of surprised that so many people like such a silly thing but it sounds really fun. I hope I get one.

Is DDR the same thing as dancing on those electronic mats, emulating dance moves?

Yes, DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) is actually just one of many games like that. I haven't played in a while but it's a lot of fun (and I hate dancing!)

Speaking of music-based games, has anyone ever played Vib Ribbon? It's a Japanese Playstation game that generates patterns from music and you have to hit the right button at the right time. Very simple but a lot of fun and it lets you put in any CD you want. I've never actually tried Weird Al, but maybe I will have to do that when I get a chance.
Wishing you a Twisted Christmas and a Twisted New Year!
