The whole song is Zappa. Frank had so many different styles of music, often in the same song, that I am surprised that Al never did the style earlier. I did find a thread on zappa.com when the song came out breaking down the different parts of the song, but I cant seem to find it now. I thought I had a link in here, but I guess not.

And do you mean Todd Rundgren?

I wanted to bring this topic back because this is one of my most favorite Al songs. The sounds are so awesome and I love the little figures of speech in it. Its to me one of those songs you can't help but love. My favorite line: "But great googily moogily, I'm a genius in France." The song would be awesome in concert, but hard to play.
"Beneath this pillow is the key to my release...I believe she misinterpreted my intentions entirely."

Tonight I was watching my Simpsons Season 9 DVD and in one part of the commentary for the episode "Lisa The Simpson" one of the staff members (I can't remember who, sorry) said that the episode "Explains why most of the other members of [Lisa's] family aren't the brightest lights on the Christmas tree." Not the exact quote from GiF, but pretty close to it.

I love this song, and I don't know why

Maybe it's because it's a weird & loony as I am ;)

When I first heard this song, it was one of my least-favorite songs on PH. I still thought it was good, just not as good as the others. But now that I'm a Zappa fan, I think it's great and one of PH's better songs.
