I've always wanted my band to play Dare To Be Stupid at a show or Battle Of The Bands, Also we want to do "Smells Like Nirvana" we just haven't had the chance yet. <_<

 I performed "Lasagna" for my 4th grade talent show, and "Yoda" for my 5th grade talent show. I was a big hit both years. When we got to meet Weird Al at the OC Fair in 2002, my Mom had to brag on me that I performed those songs, and she said, "and he was really good" and Al's eyes narrowed, and he said, "Yeah? How good?" It was pretty funny!

Actually, i was wrong when i said we haven't played "Smells Like Nirvana" we have once, but i screwed up the vocal part because i had lost my voice, so we just did an instrumental version, it went over well. I'm a'thinkin' 'bout playing "The Night Santa Went Crazy" at my parents Christmas Party, Or my Birthday Party. Rock! :bigups:

I love reading about all you people performing Al's songs at different places. I've never done that. It'd be fun to, though.

Patti

loved seeing Kevin perform "Bedrock Anthem" at AlCon III
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Alright, you all rejected my idea of singing IAATP for my Talent Quest. But how about something from PH? I was thinking along the lines of AWBP or possibly ACS, seeing as I STILL can't completely remember CP or eBay.

Whaddya think?

Oh by the way, this would be performed by a timid 13 year-old nerd in front of 130 people, on 11 December 2003... :nervous:

Well did you ever consider using that to your advantage...take the Nervouse Nerdy feelings to the extreme and do "Gee I'm A Nerd". That way if you mess up or get off key or whatever, the audience may think it's part of the act.
Just a thought!
