Okay, this is answering a whole string of questions that I cant choose which one to quote. I'll load the Live! DVD into my computer via a DVD ROM drive and strem record the shortened version, crop what I want of it and put it into my PREMADE medley MP3 file via a WAV editor along with the other instrumentals.

And yes, you have plenty of reason to question Bob but I have an answer! One of my props will be an empty pizza box (for A Complicated Song, Free Delivery and Trash Day). Inside I will keep the "lyric cards" like in the Bob video.

I'll start in my 8 Mile attire as I mentioned in my earlier post and go through the first two verses of Couch Potato (up until the Muppet Show mention) and I'll have a few seconds to take off my sweater. I'll be dressed in a red short sleeve shirt by that point after the Couch Potato segment's costume change just in time for A Complicated Song, I'll add a pizza delivery cap for Free Delivery. Come time for Trash Day I'll unbutton my red short-sleeve (heh, there'll be a white t-shirt underneith just like Nelly and I'll have some *bling bling* and reverse my cap). Come Bob I'll grab the lyric cards out of the pizza box, take off the red short-sleeve where I have, all this time, secretely been wearing a (black on the outside, ugly terquoise on the inside) vest with a Bob video-ish wig inside the cap. I'll look just like Al in the video. The finale, whatever it is, Hardware Store or Your Horoscope for Today, I'll just take off the wig and vest into my normal clothes. I'll have some cleaning up to do...but really! It sounds so elaborate and will be so impressive but it's really not that hard to do!

It's not that hard. From the beginning I'll be wearing the white t-shirt, the red short sleve shirt (but at that point it will be buttoned), my 8 Mile sweater, and my beanie. I'll keep all my props in the pizza box.

So you're basically performing a meledy with these songs? Probably a pretty good idea, since it keeps audience entertained (long songs and long dressing periods can make them bored).

Somehow, Kevin was able to rip it on a Mac and loop it. He then added in Al singing the middle section but he vocal removed it so Al sounds like a back up singer and wah-La instant instrumental. I don't think I could have done it, but Kev makes it look easy.

Yeah! A medley. That's the word I'm looking for. Yeah, the rules are we get one song or act so...why not do 7 songs?! That's the way I look at life!

Wow, there's a talent. That's REALLY hard to do...belive me, I've done plenty of DJ stuff on the computer.

Oh and I learned how to double quote! :P

You're catching on quickly, now. :D

Yeah, there are ways to remove vocals from the songs, but you would probably need the right program and someone who knew how to do it.

A cheap way of doing it is pumping up the bass to drown out the vocals, but it also drowns out the other instruments.

Yeah, I downloaded a program that's supposed to remove vocals. It wasn't bad but it really wasn't that good either...it ripped out what sounds went on in both speakers. It left the music sounding like it was underwater. It was really weird. I did that for the Angry White Boy Polka and Kim by Eminem and I wasn't impressed. It's better to just find the instrumental pieces.

Well, it's a downloaded program. You can't expect much.

Good luck finding Al instrumentals online. The best I could find was a bunch of MIDIs.
