I thought this might be a fun little project/game/discussion.
Okay, we all know that Al doesn't really do thematic albums. It was pure coincidence that Straight Outta Lynwood wound up with a gangsta theme and a rap lead single. However, we can fix that.
The game: Make a theme album for Al. You can only work with what Al has given us on his 13 studio albums, and you have to follow what have (more or less) become his rules. Pick the title of one of the Al-bums, then pick and choose tracks from any of the studio albums. But the lead single has to be one of the real lead singles (although not necessarily the one from that album title) and the album closer has to be a real album closer. There has to be a half and half breakdown of parodies and originals, and there has to be a polka. Then justify your choices, explaining why your chosen tracks actually fit the theme suggested by the title. For example, if I were doing Alpocalypse, I might pick "One Of Those Days" because the world blowing up and everybody winding up dead is, yeah, pretty darn apocalyptic.
Ladies and gentlemen, start your remixmasters.

"Even Worse"
1. Couch Potato
2. Callin' in Sick
3. Girls Just Wanna Have Lunch
4. Party at the Leper Colony
5. Toothless People
6. Ringtone
7. Syndicated Inc.
8. Don't Wear Those Shoes
9. Do I Creep You Out?
10. Nobody Here But Us Frogs
11. Hooked on Polkas
The theme should be pretty obvious here - It's an album of arguably Al's weakest songs ever, hence the title "Even Worse". "Hooked on Polkas" is only on there because I needed a worst end track and a worst polka, and that filled both spots.

Re: Album Rearrangement!
How could you ever include Nobody Here But Us Frogs on an album of Weird Al's worst songs?????
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

Off the Deep End
(songs about mental disorders and the people who have them)
1. Perform This Way
2. Stuck in a Closet with Vanna White
3. Jerry Springer
4. Dare to be Stupid
5. Angry White Boy Polka
6. Generic Blues
7. Addicted to Spuds
8. Good Old Days
9. The White Stuff
10. Talk Soup
11. Do I Creep You Out?
12. The Night Santa Went Crazy
Yeah, I kind of ran out of parodies to use, so I had to resort to the food-addiction ones.

"Weird Al" Yankovic In 3-D
1. The Saga Begins
2. Yoda
3. Ghandi II
4. Jurassic Park
5. Gump
6. Hooked On Polkas
7. Ode To A Superhero
8. UHF
9. Skipper Dan
10. Theme From Rocky XIII
11. Nature Trail To Hell
These are all of Al's songs that are either about movies or have something to do with movies. Obviously, if I didn't have to use a preexisting album title this would just be called "The Movie Album" or "Weird Al At The Movies" or "Coming Attractions" or something else lame. The title "In 3-D" was the only title that really fit this theme properly. I picked Skipper Dan obviously because it's about someone who clearly wanted to be an actor and break into films at some point in their life...and failed. I picked Hooked on Polkas because...uhh, it's got "Footloose" in it...and uh, that was a movie...so, yeah.
