30-Second Previews: Will You Listen?

I will not. A week out, I think I can wait a few days in return for not spoiling all twelve songs. I'll have to avoid this subforum altogether though...

No way!!! I am genuinely impressed by how well Al has kept a lid on this album (and it makes me wonder how many "leaks" are really just record label promotional tactics) and can easily wait another week to hear it all in one fresh pass. The idea of hearing 30-second clips strikes me as even worse than hearing a leak of the full album!

It depends on when they show up. If it's today, then I'll probably listen to the originals and likely not even the whole preview. Just enough to get a sense of what style they're in. I'm pretty confident we've got all the parody targets correctly identified, so I don't need to listen to those for any reason. (Although I might be tempted to see what the heck "Foil" is about.)

The closer it gets to release day, the less likely I'll listen to anything.

I'm convinced that by the time the 30 second previews are out, the album will already be out in some form.

Not a chance. I'll listen if the whole album leaks, but now way I want to hear 30 second previews.

I sincerely intend to not cave listening to the previews. I don't want to take the chance of ruining any of the songs by listening to only 30 seconds of what may not even be the best parts of a song.

Probably not for all of the songs, but I don't think I'll be able to keep myself from previewing at least a couple. Specifically the polka and Jackson Park Express.
