Chamillionaire was unabashedly thrilled about W&N, and publicly praised Al's rapping abilities.jacobpacek wrote:you don't see a lot of celebrities acknowledge parodies of their songs...in fact this is the first I've seen of it.

Also, "thyme" for "time," "two" and "too" for "to," and "you're" for "your."louietheweaselfaceddogboy wrote:Not sure if this has been pointed out just yet, but here is one of my favorite pieces of wordplay in this song...
"Past" is a homophone for "passed."Time to learn your homophones is past due.

. Google wasn't much of a help this time either...

I'm sure they don't teach grammar in sewers. Nor you'd get much contact with other human beings that could teach you proper grammar.

I don't really think there's a deep hidden meaning. I think he's just saying the equivalent of "people who aren't neanderthals." Hopefully someone else will speak up if there's another meaning I missed.mellow weasel wrote:Can someone explain the "Like people who were never raised in a sewer" line? Speaking of, anyone else notice the two turtles next to the manhole in the video? A nice little nod to the TMNT.

Speaking from an Al Gal perspective, the size of Al's dictionary doesn't impress me nearly as much as the size of his vocabulary.
