For some reason I really like this song, I think its pretty good. My friends hate it, but I find it kinda funny.

I don't know how many of you have ever seen the show "Johnny and the sprites" But my little sister is always mixing the two songs up...

"Heres Johnny and the sprites AND I LOVE HIM!"

Its funny to hear her sing :P

Is it worse that I just realized how much better this song would be if it were about The Shining?

Question on one lyric for Johnny Carson fans - what was the "panel" that Ed McMahon sat on, thus preventing the narrator from changing the channel?
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

The "panel" are the guests. I guess when Ed joined in the conversation, it was more entertaining?

You're welcome. That term is still used now. For example, Chris Hardwick moderated The Walking Dead panel at Comic-Con.
