Firstly, I think that would be an overreaction. It's not like something bad has happened to him . Of course I imagine he got a bit offended but these guys are so crazy and so rude that nobody in the right mind would take them seriously, and Al is a wise man, so I'm sure he didn't let it get to him.

Secondly, why do you bring this to the drooling topic? This is absolutely off-topic and people are already discussing this in the upcoming concert topic, why didn't you post there?

I personally had a touch of a mini-freakout yesterday when I first heard about this mindless picketing, worried for Al's safety. Though I'm much more within my senses now, I still am on my guard, armed with prayers for him.

Hi, I'm new here, but I just recently met Al and would like to share my story! So, I went to the second concert of his that I've ever been to on June 19 of this year. I had balcony seats because I couldn't decide which show I wanted to go to until fairly close to the show date. First of all, the show was the best thing I've ever seen in my life, and was one of my happiest times ever. Afterwards, I waited in line outside of his bus. We weren't allowed to get pictures, but we could get one item signed. I was pretty much freaking out because I had been in the same building as Al for two something hours, so when I saw him step into his tour bus I was really freaking out. My friend was asking me if I was going to be okay because I had forgotten to breathe. Whenever it was my turn, I wish I had looked at him more so I could remember it, but I was so nervous I mostly looked at his knees while he was actually looking at me. But the first thing I said was " I wrote you a letter". He didn't hear me, so he leaned down toward my face and was very close to me whenever I repeated myself. I seriously thought I was going to pass out. But anyway, he took the letter and then signed my cd booklet and I told him it was a great show and then it was my friend's turn. I couldn't believe that the moment I had been waiting for, for so long, had just flashed before my eyes. After that, I met Jim and had a great conversation because I wasn't nearly as nervous around him. I can't wait for next tour.

Side note, anyone else agree that Al's gray dress shirt and tie for FWP is ??
