I was referencing the King Of The Hill clip that Al plays at his concerts where Hank tells Bobby that, "Al Yankovich blew his brains out in the late 80's when people stopped buying his records." Al plays it at most of his concerts.

Ahhhh. Well, my mom said 5, but I don't doubt she probably got the idea from that, then. I don't remember it playing at the show, but I also have a poor memory, heh.

On this tour, AL switched out that King Of The Hill Clip for a different one where Bob and friends are trapped in a cave and he says "I see things clearly now. I'm gonna die friendless and alone like Weird AL Yankovitch."

Yeah, that is true. I was confused on how many times he was on King Of The Hill. I like the paintball one that had Green Day in it.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

@killibgsworth: Yeah, that's the one I remember! Any reason why they add the h to his name??

Lots of people add the h on the end, they did it to show Hanks ignorance of Al

Yeah, it adds to the insult (and therefore makes it funnier) when Bobby not only has his facts wrong about Al dying friendless and alone but can't even pronounce his name right. I find it annoying when people do it accidentally, but with King Of The Hill, it was added for comic effect, I think. Actually, I think Al and Mike Judge (the creator) know each other.

On the DVD commentary for UHF during the Big Edna's Burger World scene, AL does mention Mike Judge had told him he was a fan of UHF and having Beavis and Butt-Head working at a fast food joint called "Burger World" was his little nod to that scene.HalifaxKat wrote:Yeah, it adds to the insult (and therefore makes it funnier) when Bobby not only has his facts wrong about Al dying friendless and alone but can't even pronounce his name right.
